Repetition can get stagnant. Change is imperative to satisfaction and since yoga was designed as a lifelong practice and journey, we must keep it exciting and joyful. When practiced over and over again with little innovation, boredom will eventually set in. Comparable to most things it’s important to keep yoga fresh, fun, and enlivening.
1. Keep it Funky.
That means wearing fun yoga clothes, switching up studios, attending classes with new friends, and staying light hearted and funky in your asana practice. Practice should leave you feeling distinctly different than when you walked in, always in a good way. This might mean that you should switch things up. Whatever that means to you, don’t overthink it, just do it.
