About the Project
My partnership with Mighty Swell included a custom designed billboard in downtown Austin was a one-of-a-kind experience. I was asked to visually represent what Austin is about and how Mighty Swell blends with the culture of our city. Mighty Swell being founded in ATX is something they wanted to highlight in the artwork. The artwork was designed digitally and hand painted with spray paint and hand-cut stencils.
I designed additional installation components to give the billboard a unique shape rather than utilizing the traditional rectangle billboard. The location of the artwork was seen by thousands of daily commuters off of I-35 in downtown Austin.
