About Zuzu
Zuzu is an award-winning Creative Entrepreneur and Visual Artist. Specializing in contemporary mixed-media art, large-scale murals, artist curation, and creative consulting. She is recognized for vibrant color design and positive messaging winning her the “Best Muralist of Austin” award five consecutive years (2021-2025).
Zuzu currently spends half the year on the road for the annual SPRAYCATION Mural Tour (June – November) traversing across the western United States painting murals and producing community events.
At an early age, she learned the importance of being business-minded, creative, and fiercely motivated to follow her dreams. She found herself painting her first piece in the streets in 2008, stemming from her fascination with graffiti culture in the early 2000’s. A few years later, she completed her studies at the creative advertising program at University of Texas at Austin in 2010. She continued spray painting after she graduated, and further explored her passion for digital art and creative direction. Since then, she has combined her love of art, business, and design, working with brands like American Express, Rolling Stone, Coca-Cola, Neiman Marcus, SXSW, Budweiser, Facebook, Red Bull, Fender, and W Hotels.
Her dynamic and innovative creative work has deep roots in the Austin creative community. All projects are centered around producing high quality experiences that expand the definition of creativity. At the core of the business is the belief that art has the power to awaken and inspire the world around us.
